This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
